Throughout history, every generation has faced change—sometimes gradual, sometimes sudden. The word “evolve” captures both the patience of growth and the urgency of transformation. It honors the past while acknowledging that progress requires adaptation.
For our 2026 conference, TEDxEustis invites speakers and attendees alike to reflect on how we are shaped by where we’ve been and how we must adapt to meet the challenges ahead.
TEDxEustis 2020 Speaker, Johnny Crowder:
"1 MILLION VIEWS ON MY TED TALK!! WE DID IT, FAMILY!!
You might know by now that giving a TED Talk has been on my bucket list for, well, my entire life - even before Cope Notes existed.
What you DON'T know is that I spent 6 months writing and refining this talk, adding sections, rearranging points, and gutting everything down to a mere 18 minutes (when most of my keynotes usually last an hour).
This work was time-consuming, tedious, and unpaid.
But at the same time, it was fascinating and rewarding.
To take the TED stage is a privilege in itself. But to reach over a million people with a real message of hope and change (not a great big lie about how easy it is to heal) is a dream within a dream.
This is TEDception for me, y'all.
Thank you to every single person who has watched, shared, commented, or given this lil ditty a thumbs-up. You'll never know how many people you've helped by telling that tricky YouTube algorithm "Hey, listen here, this is important and other folks need to hear it."
And most of all, thank you to TED, TEDx, and TEDxEustis for taking a chance on me and blessing me with the opportunity of a lifetime. I'll never forget this as long as I live.
And no, I’m not in a rush to do my second one… that was so much work!"
